My name is Elena Lisovskaya. Since 2002, I have been offering professional costumes to the dancers of oriental dance, belly dance, tribal, flamenco and folkloric. Here some words about me.

I was born in Uglich town of Yaroslavl region. I was born in a family of scientists. I had left art school and I'm a laureate of several international art contests.

I have supreme education. I was graduated from Moscow State University, biological faculty with honors. I`ve been working in the institute of hematology for several years. I defended my degree, but while working on it, I became aware that my vocation is a design activity.

While studying at MSU I was very active at ball dancing (dancing in the B class), and in 2001 became very interested in the East. Now I teach oriental dancing, both classics and folklore, I also have the diploma of oriental dancing.

As for sewing, I was interested in it since I remember myself. I studied this art from experienced professional seamstresses and embroiderers. In 2002 I created my first sewn costume. Since this point, I consider the birth of my workshop. I left science and totally devoted myself to art.

I travel a lot, learning ethnic costume, applied art, way of life and dance of different nation. I bring a lot of new ideas, which I always try to use in my works.

I'm very happy that my life connects with amazing dance world, creating beautiful things and images and full of meetings with interesting people.
